How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients; mix thoroughly.
  • Drop by the tablespoonful into hot deep fat. (370 degrees)
  • Fry a few at a time, until golden brown on all sides.
  • Drain on paper towels.
  • Serve hot.
  • Makes about 2 dozen.

    Oh wow... that sounds so good. I love hushpuppies, but I'd better wait till I'm done losing weight. I have a feeling if I made these, I'd get into a habit and want to make them too often!

    Man... U and Grizz.. THE FISH FRY WAS LAST WEEKEND! LOL!
    One of our local restaurants used to serve hushpuppies to you when you sat down... I loved it!
