Cherry Almond Fudge

- 2 cups (12 ounces) either white or semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds shopping list
- 1/2 cup red candied cherries, chopped shopping list
- 1 teaspoon almond extract shopping list
How to make it
- Line an 8 inch square pan with foil and either spray the foil with Pam or grease by hand.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and milk.
- Cover and microwave on high for 1 minute or until chips have melted.
- Stir until smooth.
- Stir in the almonds, cherries and extract.
- Spread into prepared pan.
- Cover and chill for 2 hours or until set.
- Using the overhanging edges of foil, lift fudge out of pan.
- Remove foil and discard.
- Cut fudge into 1-in. squares.
- Store in the refrigerator or a cool place.
- Makes approximately 1 pound.
