Limoncello Ice Cream Recipe

How to make it

  • Blend the ice cream with the limoncello in a blender until smooth.
  • Serve immediately in small liqueur glasses for sipping.
  • **OR**
  • If you prefer, immediately transfer the mixture to a covered container and freeze until firm or for up to 1 week.
  • Use a small ice cream scoop and serve in dessert bowls.
  • Garnish the servings with lemon zest.

    Fantastic!!!!
    Did a little bit of an addon for this.
    Melted some dark chocolate in a bowl, got some small baloons and half coated them with the chocolate. Put them in the freezer to set, popped the baloons and removed them. Then used them as chocolate bowls and filled them with lemoncello ice cream with a sprinkle of lemon zest on top and reset in the freezer. Best xmass desert I ever did make!!
