I couldn't get the rest of this in the recipe so here the remaining steps:
Drop several of the balls into the boiling water. They will sink to the bottom. When all balls have risen to the top, cover pot and boil another 5 minutes. Remove from water with slotted spoon and place on serving platter.
Repeat until all dumplings have been cooked.
Serve with Sauerbraten or beef roast and thickened gravy from meat.
I like to pour a rich brown meat gravy over a platter of meat slices and dumplings. Garnish with parsley or chopped green onion.

Ah, potato glaze! That's what they're called where I'm from (glaze sounds like kloesse). They're good with rouladen, too.

Dumplings are kind of dull by themselves. If you prepare these straight up, add more spices and seasoning.
I made a very showy brown gravy to go with the dumplings. A satasfying meal even without meat.
Gravy was a "Basic All-American Brown Gravy" recipe by Chef_irish.

This is one of the best potato recipe I have ever had, the potatoes are so fluffy and soak up the gravy.
This is a must with sauerkraut and I normally serve with pork loin with a honey glaze.
