An easy to make bean side dish served hot. These beans will be the envy of everyone you serve them to and you'll have to beat off requests for the recipe!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cooking oil shopping list
- 1 cup chopped onions shopping list
- 1 19oz can brown beans (beans in tomato sauce is what I use) shopping list
- 1 14oz can kidney beans shopping list
- 1 cup crushed pinapple shopping list
- 1/3 cup ketchup shopping list
- 1 tsp mustard shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tbsp bacon bits shopping list
- 1/4 tsp worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/8 tsp pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Real simple. Mix and heat....Oh! And enjoy!
- *(I use a 'croc pot' to heat, but 'stovetop' works too.)
- *(If using fresh bacon cook till crisp & break into pieces)
