Black Bean Potato And Jalapeno Soup Recipe

Ingredients

1 can ( 16 oz.) black beans, drained

2 potatoes diced

1/2 lb cooked ham, cut into pieces

6 cups beef broth

2 onions chopped or 1/4 cup dried onions

1 (4 oz) can chopped Jalapeno or mild chili peppers

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teasp. cumin

1 teasp. oregano

1 teasp. thyme

optional: you can add more garlic, cooked hot Italian sausage,

use ham broth or chicken broth

Directions

Combine all the ingredients in al crockpot or slow cooker

cover and cook on low for 8 - 10 hours or on high for 4 - 5 hours

to serve; garnish the bowls with a dollop of sour cream and chopped tomatoes if desired

Well, I don't know why someone would rate this recipe low. This is one of the most flavourful and enjoyed soups I have prepared. I had printed it out awhile ago but sorry to say, never got around to commenting and rating it until now. This recipe deserves 5++++++++ and it's AWESOME!!!
