This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Jarvis Estate in Frisco, Texas in 2007.

I had to join the gd site and it lost my long review. Anyway, my hand is still on fire from the jalapeno juice. I thought these better be the best Damn hush puppies I've ever tasted. What a let down. They were awful and a waste of ingredients. The batter just fell apart when it hit the oil even with an extra cup of corn meal. Don't waste your time. this ruined my entire night.
