Five to you!! I always add tomato slices and lettuce, onions, mustard to my burgers, as well as what your recipe calls for, except the ketchup -- really good! :+D

Oh baby! That's what I'm talking about! No White Castles here, so when I crave them I have to get them outta the freezer section. Ugh
Now I can make my own!

Yesss! How cool these are! I'll bet they'd be better than the restaurants. More fresh!

I buy White Castle by the case. My teens eat them for breakfast and after school snacks. I'll be a hero if I can replicate them. Thanks!

Here in our part of the South we have Krystal burgers instead of White Castle. We can buy frozen White Castle burgers at some grocery stores though and they are identical. I worked at Krystal about 23 years ago as a cook and when the burgers were almost done we would put the buns on them like you described and then they had this big lid thing to put over the whole grill (24 burgers were being made at the same time)so the buns could be steamed, tastes just awesome. I make these at home now and cover the 3 or 4 I am making with a big skillet for about a minute.
