How to make it

  • Melt butter in electric skillet set at 200 deg. Can also use a large pan/pot on stove set to med-low.
  • Place chicken on butter. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic, if desired.
  • Pour ketchup & Pepsi over, cover and cook for 1 1/2 - 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Enjoy!

    That's the only reason I tried it too. I found this recipe in my mom's old recipe box when I was about 12, thought it sounded disgusting so of course, being 12, had to try it;-) Everyone loved it and I'm still making it almost 2 decades later!
