Easy Steamy Hot Hotdog Bun Recipe

Nice, hot and steamy just like from the corner hot dog stand or from the ball park :)

Ingredients
- 1 wet paper towel
- 1 cheep store brand hotdog bun
Directions
- Wet a paper towel and ring out all of the excess water
- Place the hotdog bun in the paper towel and completely roll the paper towel around the bun to cover it
- Microwave for 12-15 seconds (depending on the strength of your microwave)
- Unwrap bun, fix hotdog and enjoy :)

I'm with you. I've always preferred the commercial buns over bakery buns. I think it's because they don't compete with the meat. (I'm a poet.) The dog should be the dominant flavor, especially after I've put a lot of time into charring it to perfection.
Your method for steaming the buns makes all the difference. A cold stiff bun is no fun. (Ha.)
