Awesome Almond Buckwheat Pancakes

- Combine: shopping list
- 1/3 c buckwheat flour shopping list
- 1/3 c whole wheat (or whole spelt) flour shopping list
- 3/4 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 tsp sugar (optional) shopping list
- ***** shopping list
- Combine separately: shopping list
- 1/3 c yogurt shopping list
- 1/2 c milk (or substitute) shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 Tbsp melted butter shopping list
- ***** shopping list
- slivered almonds shopping list
How to make it
- Mix wet and dry ingredients until just incorporated - batter can be a bit lumpy.
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat with about a teaspoon of butter. You can spray your pan with oil (grape seed works well) instead if you like.
- Pour in 1/4 of the batter and generously sprinkle with slivered almonds.
- When bubbles start to appear in your pancake, flip it and cook until slightly browned on bottom.
- Repeat with the rest of the batter adding a bit more butter to the pan each time.
- Serve warm with maple syrup.
- Enjoy :-)

With the almonds, is that just the way you like them? They aren't part of the ingredients. Finally, a more healthy pancake!
