How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Arrange asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Coat asparagus with cooking spray.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 12 min. or until tender.
  • Melt butter in skillet until lightly browned.
  • Remove from heat and stir in soy sauce and vinegar.
  • Add asparagus and toss. Makes 8 servings.
  • Tip: When choosing asparagus, note that the fresh ones are firm not soft, at the tips. Bend a spear until it snaps and discard the bottom part. If asparagus is rather thick, use a vegetable peeler on the stems.
