Hamburgers With Sour Cream Onion Filling Recipe

Ingredients

1 envelope onion soup mix ( not cup of soup size)

1 pint sour cream

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef

Lettuce

4 large sandwich buns, split and toasted

Directions

At least 24 hours ahead combine onion sup mix with sour cream. Add black pepper. Cover and chill until serving.

Shape beef into 8 thin patties (patties should be larger than buns to allow for shrinkage). Stack with waxed paper between. Wrap in foil and refrigerate until 1/2 hour before cooking.

Preheat grill.

Grill patties about 10 to 15 minutes or until desire doneness.

Place lettuce leaves over each bottom half of bun. Top with 1 patty. Cover with onion-sour cream mixture. Top with another patty. Cover with op half of bun. serve at once.
