How to make it

  • At least 24 hours ahead combine onion sup mix with sour cream. Add black pepper. Cover and chill until serving.
  • Shape beef into 8 thin patties (patties should be larger than buns to allow for shrinkage). Stack with waxed paper between. Wrap in foil and refrigerate until 1/2 hour before cooking.
  • Preheat grill.
  • Grill patties about 10 to 15 minutes or until desire doneness.
  • Place lettuce leaves over each bottom half of bun. Top with 1 patty. Cover with onion-sour cream mixture. Top with another patty. Cover with op half of bun. serve at once.
