Hamburgers With Sour Cream Onion Filling

- 1 envelope onion soup mix ( not cup of soup size) shopping list
- 1 pint sour cream shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef shopping list
- lettuce shopping list
- 4 large sandwich buns, split and toasted shopping list
How to make it
- At least 24 hours ahead combine onion sup mix with sour cream. Add black pepper. Cover and chill until serving.
- Shape beef into 8 thin patties (patties should be larger than buns to allow for shrinkage). Stack with waxed paper between. Wrap in foil and refrigerate until 1/2 hour before cooking.
- Preheat grill.
- Grill patties about 10 to 15 minutes or until desire doneness.
- Place lettuce leaves over each bottom half of bun. Top with 1 patty. Cover with onion-sour cream mixture. Top with another patty. Cover with op half of bun. serve at once.

Sounds great, I make one simular with horseradish in the cream, everyone seems to like them,will try with the dry onion mixture,thanks for the post....
