How to make it

  • Mix together the above ingredients (not Topping)
  • Flatten in a 9 X 13 greased pan.
  • Bake @ 350 for 15 minutes.
  • Cool the bars.
  • Spread topping on the cooled bars.
  • Let set.
  • When totally cooled cut into squares!
  • Enjoy! :)

    This turned out really weird. You might have mentioned that instant oatmeal, or at least grinding up the oatmeal might help (just a guess). I used regular oatmeal, followed the recipe to a "T" and it ended up looking like I baked dry oatmeal in the oven and dumped chocolate/peanut butter on it. It didn't turn out like "bars" at all.
