Home made sweetened condensed milk to use if you get caught without some... Ive had this recipe a long time and dont remember where I got it....

Ingredients
- 1 cup instant dry milk
- 2/3 cup of sugar
- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 3 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in container of electric blender
- process until smooth
- Store in refrigerator until ready to use
- Yield about 1 1/4 cups, which is equal to one can of prepared

This recipe is very helpful, I did not know one could make this at home. Can one put in a little cornstarch to thicken it up a bit, or is this not such a good idea? Thanks for another great recipe idea!
