This is a hair treatment you apply before shampooing.
Also on the topic of shampoo, it's best to buy organic natural shampoos, without harsh chemicals like sodium lauryl sulfates which many have even 'organic brands' I've found

You can find all these online through Mountain Rose herbs. They have a free catalog you can order and look through. I have been dealing with them for years and they are awesome people, never had any problems. Also they are into fair trade and organic products.

Wouldn't this make my hair really greasy?

This is much like a hot oil treatment, it won't make your hair greasy in the end, just smooth and shiny, that is because you shampoo before you rinse it off.

Great recipe. I knew that rosemary was great for the scalp - but I didn't know about cedarwood oil. Thanks for sharing!
