How to make it

  • In Dutch oven or kettle, cook sausage till no longer pink
  • Add onion and cook till tender
  • Remove and drain on paper towel
  • Return sausage/onion to pan
  • Add potatoes, salt, marjoram, pepper and water
  • Bring to boil and reduce heat
  • Simmer just until potatoes are tender
  • Add cream-style corn, whole kernal corn and mix
  • Add evaporated milk and stir
  • Turn heat down to LOW and heat thoroughly

    I've made this often. It's great on a cold day, but also when fresh corn is available. Otherwise I use frozen bagged corn. Get the roasted, if you can find it.
