Banana Butterscotch Loaf

This is a very moist, rich tasting cake that my stepson thought was the best cake that I've made. The combination of bananas and butterscotch was exquisite. Also the recipe makes 2 9 x 5 loaf pan sized cakes so you could freeze one if necessary.
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 4 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 cups ripe mashed bananas shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk shopping list
- 12 ounce package butterscotch morsels shopping list
How to make it
- Grease and flour 2 9 x 5 inch loaf pans.
- In small bowl combine the dry ingredients and set aside.
- In a large bowl combine the mashed bananas, sugar, eggs and melted butter.
- Beat until creamy.
- Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk and the banana mixture.
- Make sure it is all well blended.
- Stir in the butterscotch morsels.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pans.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
