How to make it

  • In large saucepan, combine milk, water, rice and sugar.
  • Bring rice to a boil over medium-high heat; reduce heat to medium and simmer, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender, about 40 minutes.
  • Remove 1/2 cup rice mixture and mix with egg.
  • Return to saucepan and add vanilla, maple and apple.
  • Serve warm.
