If you have dark carpets, vinegar can sometimes bleach darker carpets, so do test this formula on a small hidden portion of your carpet. Also I have a recipe that uses no vinegar too I will post in my group.

Very nice....good advice too! Vinegar has so many great uses - especially perfect in a 50-50 ratio with water to remove pet stains and smell for no repeated oopsies! I am saving this - thank you Ichef! - I also added it to the Tips & Advice group along with giving it the rating it deserves!

Love this, it helped me get out the most stubborn stained area. And it helped the entry carpet that I couldn't shampoo. Very nice post.
