How to make it

  • Mix all ingredients and pour into pie shell.
  • bake at 350 degrees
  • cook 1 full hour before opening oven.
  • keep checking, about 1 hour and
  • 45 minutes.remove from oven while still a little shaky.
  • Best cooked on new moon
  • or full moon.
  • makes one pie

    Thanks for a simple custard. I have been in hospital for quite some time I got hooked on the custard. About the only thing that was really good. I miss it. Going to try it now.

    just thinking about making some custard a little while ago now ill try yours i was going to make caramel custard in desert cups too im making some candy roses for relay for life too

    Now you've done it. I LOVE custard and I'm off my diet again LOL My Mother always made custards but never as a pie. Thanks so much for a great recipe and I can't wait to make it.

    Yummy, I love custard, my mom used ro make it in individual desert bowls and sprinkle Nutmeg on top, it was Delicious, thanks for the recipe!!
