Apricot Almond And Brie Stuffed French Toast

- 6 eggs shopping list
- ¼ cup milk shopping list
- ½ cup apricot puree shopping list
- ¼ cup almonds sliced shopping list
- 4 slices of brie cheese * optional shopping list
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- 8 slices egg bread (sándwich bread) shopping list
- 4 tbsp. unsalted butter shopping list
- confectioners sugar shopping list
- berries jam or maple syrup shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl, using the fork beat the ggs until slightly frothy. Stir in milk and set aside.
- Stir apricot puree in the almond and spices
- Spread the apricot almond mixture evenly over half the bread slice sleaving 1/4 inch border uncovered on all edges and optional put your slices of Brie cheese. Top with the remaining bread slices and press down gentil to seal.
- Place 2 sandwiches in the egg mixture. Press gentil until evenly saturated on both sides Remove from the bowl and reapeat with the remaining 2 sandwiches.
- In a frying pan enough to hold all the sandwiches at once melt 2 tablespoons of butter over médium heat . Add the sándwiches and fry until the undersides are golden brown, about 2 minutes. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the pan in several pieces distribuiting evenly, then slip the sándwiches with the spatula and fry until browned, about 2 minutes.
- Serve warm and dust with confectioner’s sugar over the top and spread with apricot jelly or Maple syrup.
