German Chocolate Upside Down Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 package German chocolate cake mix
  • 8 0z cream cheese (room temp)
  • 1/2 cup butter (room temp)
  • 1 pound box powdered sugar

Directions
  1. grease and flour 9 x13 pan
  2. sprinkle coconut and pecans evenly over bottom of pan
  3. Prepare cake mix according to package directions
  4. Pour cake batter over cocnut and pecans
  5. Beat together cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar
  6. Drop by spoonfuls over the top of the cake batter
  7. Bake about 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center
  8. To serve: cool cake, cut into serving size pieces and turn upside down on dessert plates
  9. ENJOY!!!
