George Straits King Ranch Chicken Recipe
When my husband and I got married this was in a cook book that we received as a wedding present. I haven't made it in a long time, but remember that it was very good.

Ingredients
  • 1 10 3/4 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 10 3/4 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 10 oz can Ro-tel tomatoes with green chile peppers
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 11 oz pkg corn tortillas cut into 6 pieces
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 lb cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Mix together first 4 ingredients and set aside.
  3. In a greased 9x13 inch casserole, layer the ingredients in the following order: chicken, tortillas, onions, soup mixture and top with cheese.
  4. Bake for 1 hour or unti mixture is bubbly.
