This dish is so easy and yet so tasty that whether it's your family or company; it will be enjoyed and appreciated, I like to make crusty long rolls with this and make garlic-butter to enjoy with them.

Ingredients
  • 1 (16 ounce) package penne pasta
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano
  • 2 Tbs. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 lb. shrimp, washed

Directions
  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, heat olive oil.
  3. Stir in garlic, basil, oregano, parsley, tomato, salt and pepper, and cook 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in cream cheese until melted. Add shrimp and heat through, toss with cooked pasta and serve.

jett2whit, thats what I did. I used fat free cream cheese, and it was really good. I made it tonight for dinner. REALLY good !
