Brussel Sprouts with Pecan Butter

- 1 lb. brussel sprouts,trimmed and an x cut into the base of each sprout shopping list
- 2Tbs. extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1Tbs unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/4c chopped pecans shopping list
- salt and fresh ground pepper shopping list
- pinch of brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- In a steamer set over boiling water,stream Brussel sprouts,covered 7-8 mins,until just tender. Drain under cold running water to stop them from cooking.(you can do this step 1 day in advance)
- In large skillet,heat oil and butter. Add nuts;cook over medium heat until golden brown. Add sprouts,salt ,pepper and sugar. Saute 1 to 2 minutes,until heated through!
