Rosemary Pasta Recipe
This flavorful pasta is delicately delicious. Goes great with roast chicken, or for a pasta lover (like myself) to eat by itself,,,yum.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb pasta or spaghetti
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • 3-4 sprigs rosemary
  • pinch of sea salt
  • pinch of coarse ground black pepper

Directions
  1. In a sauce pan, boil water to cook pasta. Cook the pasta to al dente (depending on the pasta, approximately 7-8 minutes)
  2. Do not drain.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, pour olive oil in a separate frying pan (large enough to hold the cooked pasta)
  4. Add peeled garlic and rosemary sprigs.
  5. Saute at low-medium heat until the garlic is golden and the rosemary begins to brown.
  6. Be careful not to burn the garlic or the rosemary.
  7. Using tongs or a slotted spoon, remove the garlic and rosemary.
  8. Using tongs, transfer pasta into the hot roasted garlic rosemary oil.
  9. Toss with the tongs until the pasta is well coated.
  10. (If desired, add a small amount of pasta water to the fry pan to make a light sauce.)
  11. Remember, timing is everything: You wait for the pasta, pasta does not wait for you!
  12. Sprinkle with sea salt and coarse black pepper.
  13. Enjoy!
