Sauted Scallops with Miso Mirin Glaze

- 2 tablespoon miso shopping list
- 2 tablespoon mirin shopping list
- 2 teaspoon soy shopping list
- 2 teaspoon sugar shopping list
- 1 stalk celery diced shopping list
- 8 scallops shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 2 tablespoon oil shopping list
- 4 tablespoons white wine shopping list
- 2 clove garlic (chopped) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon whole grain mustard shopping list
- 2 tablespoon heavy cream shopping list
- * water shopping list
- 2 serving salad greens shopping list
- 2 green onion (sliced) shopping list
- 2 teaspoon parmigiano-reggiano shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the miso, mirin, soy and sugar in a small bowl
- Season the scallops with salt and pepper.
- Heat the oil in a pan.
- Add the scallops and sear on both sides, about 1-2 minutes per side.
- Set the scallops aside.
- Add the white wine and deglaze the pan.
- Add the miso mixture, celery and garlic and bring to a boil.
- Remove from the heat and mix in the mustard and heavy cream.
- Mix in some water, if required, to bring the sauce to the consistency of a dressing.
- Arrange by placing the lettuce on a plate followed by the scallops. Pour on the dressing and top with green onions and parmigiano-reggiano
