This dish is easy and wonderful! I just make my 2nd cobbler with blueberries! Is just as good as the strawberry I made last week...I barely give it time to set before I am scooping out a bowl...

ive got the cobbler in the oven now. I went a bit of a different route due to time constraint. i sliced the strawberries into super thin rounds so that i wouldnt have to simmer them and just poured the batter overtop of it. i also subbed out the extra half cup of sugar with brown sugar. im excited to how it turns out!

This looks too good to be true! Will try it next month when strawberries are 'in.' (They come in early here.)

It takes 30-40 minutes :) I gently spread the strawberries over the top of the flour mixture with a knife before baking; they got stuck in the center.

Sounds great! But tell me, should the flour be all-purpose or self-rising? Also, frozen strawberries leave a lot more liquid when simmered---should all of the juice be used?
