Old Fashioned Banana Pudding

This is an old Southern recipe that takes banana pudding to a new level. It is worth the eeffort.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 can evaporated milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- vanilla wafers shopping list
- 6 or 8 bananas, sliced shopping list
- 1 tbs butter shopping list
- 1 tbs vanillia shopping list
How to make it
- Sift sugar, flour, salt and blend in milks, beat in eggs until smooth. Cook in double boiler or over low heat until thickened. REmove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla. Layer vanilla wafers, sliced bananas and custard in that order. repeat several lawyers until custard is used. top layer must be custard. Refrigerate until chilled.
