  • This recipe is for a medium or 1.5 pound loaf of bread
  • Water: 1 1/4 cups
  • Butter: 2 tablespoons
  • White bread flour: 3 cups
  • Dry milk: 2 tablespoons
  • Brown sugar: 2 tablespoons
  • Salt: 1 1/2 teaspoons
  • Onions (dried flakes ONLY): 1/2 cup
  • Onion powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper: 1 teaspoon
  • Poppy seeds: 1 teaspoon
  • Yeast, active dry: 1 1/2 teaspoons

Directions
  1. Put ingredients into the bread machine pan strictly in the order given. Program the machine for a 1.5 pound loaf. It can be baked with the white, rapid, or delay cycles.

Sounds wonderful, I love onions in bread, it gives it so much flavor.


Gee, to think when I last purged cookbooks that series was among those I donated to the library. I am going to make this one day. The aroma is so worth whipping out the bread machine.
