How to make it

  • Finely chop the garlic, green onion and cilantro. Add to saucepan with chicken broth and saffron.
  • Bring to a boil. As soon as the broth is boiling, add the couscous and remove from heat.
  • Let sit 5 minutes and serve.
  • This makes a nice presentation on a plate, when I have used a 1/2 cup measure as a mold when I am serving it up (and a 1/4 cup measure for a child).
