Ingredients
- 1 cup (1/2 pound) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups (8 ounces by weight) all-purpose flour
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream butter and sugar in an electric mixer.
- Add the remaining ingredients and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Spoon the mixture into a pastry bag fitted with a star pastry tube.
- Pipe the equivalent of a teaspoon onto cookie sheets.
- Bake 18 20 minutes.
- Transfer cookies to racks. Cool. Store in an airtight container
