Dr Pepper Chicken Recipe

How to make it

  • Spray the bottom of a heavy pot with non-stick spray
  • Season chicken and brown a few mins on each side
  • Mix can of dr. pepper and ketchup
  • Pour over chicken
  • Bring to a boil, cover & simmer for 45 mins.
  • You can eat this with a side dish or shred the chicken and make sandwiches. It's great!

    Sorry about that! You mix the ketchup with the Dr. Pepper and pour over chicken. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 45 mins.

    So you don't mention what you do with the ketchup...is that just rubbed on the chicken before you season?

    I needed something else low-fat for chicken! Thanks for posting. We love Dr Pepper even tho' we don't drink alot of soda's we will surely love this recipe! Jett
