Ingredients
  • 1 c. butter (liking it already =D)
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 t. vanilla extract
  • 2 T. Praline liqueur or 2 teaspoons of praline extract (omit vanilla extract if using Praline extract)(chocolate liqueur works great to. . .)
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 t. baking powder
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1 c. pecan halves

Directions
  1. Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in vanilla and praline liqueur or praline extract or chocolate liqueur.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Shape dough into 1 inch balls; place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  3. Press a pecan half into center of each cookie. Bake at 300 degrees F. for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
