How to make it

  • Cut kernels from the cob and set aside
  • Sitr together flour, salt and pepper
  • Combine with corn.
  • Add the heavy cream and water. Mix.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat bacon grease and 2 T butter
  • Add corn mixture and turn heat down to medium-low, stirring frequently, until it becomes creamy, about 30 minutes.
  • Add the remaining 2 T butter right before serving.

    Ohhhh....YES!! Fried cream corn, honey. My Auntie Jo used to make this stuff and it was so good you could forego eating altogether and just stick an IV into your arm with this stuff in it!! Seriously. --Kn0x--
