Ingredients

How to make it

  • In skillet over med. heat, saute onion, barley and nuts in butter until barley is lightly browned.
  • Stir in parsley, and green onion.
  • Mix vegetable broth seasioning with 3 and 2/3 cups warm water..
  • Stir with barley mixture and transfer to a 2 quart baking dish.
  • Bake uncovered 1 hour and a few minutes until barley is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  • Garnish with parsley.
  • Serces 6.
  • Makes a good bake and take for potluck dinner too.
