How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 425
  • Arrange chicken in an oven proof clay pot or medium baking dish. . coat with lemon juice,and season with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl,mix the melted butter,steak sauce,2Tbs. capers and 2Tbs caper liquid. Reserve remaining capers and liquid for another use. Pour the butter mixture over the chicken to coat.
  • Cover and bake 25 mins. in the preheated oven,until the chicken is no longer pink and the juices run clear. Drizzle with remaining liquid from the baking dish to serve.

    I just made this for dinner tonight and served it over basmati rice. holy crap it was good. exactly what i was craving. who knew that steak sauce diluted with butter and lemon would be AMAZING on chicken. Add the capers and yum-a-licious! very easy to make, and i'll do it again!
