Weeknight Beef Skillet Casserole

- 12 oz. extra lean ground beef shopping list
- 1 medium green bell pepper, seeded ans finely chopped shopping list
- 10 oz. frozen mixed vegetables shopping list
- 1 8-oz. tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1-1/2 tsp. dried Italian seasoning shopping list
- 2 tsp. sugar shopping list
- 6 oz. dried egg noodles (wide) shopping list
- 1/4 cup snipped fresh parsley shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- cooking spray shopping list
How to make it
- Heat a 12" nonstick skillet over medium heat. Remove from the heat and lightly spray with cooking spray, Cook beef 3 minutes or until browned, stirring frequently. Pour into a colander and rinse under hot water to remove the fat, drain well. wipe skillet with paper towels. Return beef back to skillet
- Stir in bell pepper. Cook for 3 minutes or until just tender, stirring frequently.
- Stir in mixed vegetables, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium high heat. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 20 minutes or until green beans are done.
- Meanwhile prepare noodles according to pkg. directions, drain well reserving 3/4 cup of the water. Stir in noodles, reserved water, parsley and salt into the beef mixture.
- Top with the Parmesan cheese

This is great...it's different from all the mushroom soup recipes! (even though I love them too!). Will be having this soon. Maybe with some parmesan cheese on top! Thanks for sharing.
