Sloppy Joes

Everyone has their own version of this simple dish. I love this as a quick supper or lunch with fries!
Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tsp of mustard shopping list
- 3/4 cup of ketchup shopping list
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar shopping list
- salt & pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Brown the ground beef, onion & bell pepper in a heavy pot or skillet
- Drain
- Stir in the garlic powder, mustard, ketchup and brown sugar & seasoning
- Lower the heat & simmer for about 30 mins.
- serve on hamburger buns and enjoy!
