I am allergic to MSG but I need Lipton's Onion Soup Mix sometimes for recipes. This is the closest I could get to Lipton's Onion Soup Mix recipe (and in fact I've been told it's better) and it has no msg or preservatives. Read more 5 Tbs is equal to One 1 1/4 oz package. See less

- 1/4 tsp sugar

Ingredients

3/4 cup dried minced onion shopping list
1/3 cup NO msg beef bouillon powder shopping list
4 tsp onion powder shopping list
1/4 tsp celery salt shopping list
1/4 tsp sugar shopping list

How to make it

Combine all ingredients.
You can store it in a ziplock bag or air-tight container. It keeps for quite a while.

Where can you get no MSG beef bouillon? I have been to Whole Foods and all they have is some form of liquid. Thanks!

I love finding recipes without MSG, I am not allergic to it but I choose not to eat it because it is so bad for you.

Awesome Post! I use Lipton's in so many things, and in the long run this is probably cheaper. Bookmarked to use often:o) Also added it to the "Homemade Condiments & Sauces" group, hope you don't mind.
