This is a delicious rich italian pasta recipe that is a real hit in my home! Hope your family likes it too!

Ingredients
  • 1 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 can (29 oz) Tomato Puree
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) Beef Broth
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 lb penne pasta

Directions
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and olive oil.
  2. Sauté the garlic and onions 1 minute, until onion is transparent.
  3. Add the beef and cook until no pink remains, drain any fat.
  4. Add wine and cook for 5 minutes, reducing it.
  5. Add the milk and cook to reduce, about 5 minutes.
  6. Add tomato puree, broth, salt and pepper and bring to a boil.
  7. Simmer 45 minutes, or until desired consistency is reached.
  8. While sauce is simmering, cook pasta according to package directions.
  9. Serve sauce over cooked pasta.
  10. Enjoy!

instead of tamato puree try diced tomatoes its just like bleaded tomatos but not as thick as tomato paste
