How to make it

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and olive oil.
  • Sauté the garlic and onions 1 minute, until onion is transparent.
  • Add the beef and cook until no pink remains, drain any fat.
  • Add wine and cook for 5 minutes, reducing it.
  • Add the milk and cook to reduce, about 5 minutes.
  • Add tomato puree, broth, salt and pepper and bring to a boil.
  • Simmer 45 minutes, or until desired consistency is reached.
  • While sauce is simmering, cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Serve sauce over cooked pasta.
  • Enjoy!

    This was very good, but not really Bolognese flavor -- more of a tomato taste. Might be that I didn't cook it down enough; will try it again.
