Amerasian Breakfast Recipe


AMERASIAN BREAKFAST Recipe
This is a little breakfast dish that has just a little bit of an Asian twist to it.

Ingredients
  • 3 Tbs. margarine
  • 1/2 C. chopped celery
  • 1/2 C. chopped onion
  • 3 C. cooked rice
  • 1/4 Tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 lb. sausage cooked, crumbled, and drained
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Soy sauce, to taste

Directions
  1. Heat butter in large skillet until hot.
  2. Cook celery and onion until tender.
  3. Stir in rice, garlic powder, and sausage.
  4. Season with pepper.
  5. Cook and stir about 3 minutes to heat through.
  6. Push sausage mixture to one side of skillet.
  7. Pour in eggs and cook until just set.
  8. Stir into rice mixture.
  9. Season with soy sauce.
  10. Makes 6 servings.
