Easy and these can also be baked instead of broiling, although broiling will give them a better crust

  3. Combine with brown sugar and one tablespoon marinade and one tablespon waterin saucepan.
  4. Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to break up apples. Stir in green onions. Cook for another 10 minutes covered.
  5. Remove from heat and set aside
  6. Remove chops from refrigerator and reserve marinade
  7. Place chops on rack of broiler pan and broil for four minutes
  8. turn cops over and brush with reserved marinade. broil for another 4 or five minutes or until thermometer registers 145. Chops will continue cooking after removing from heat and will be medium. For medium rare (slightly pink) remove at 140. Above 145 they will become dry and overcooked. Nap with applesauce and serve

This can also be done boneless with pork loin. Commercial pork today is safe to serve at 145 degrees, which is medium rare. This will be very light pink. It is moist and tasty. For medium cook to 145 and let the oven bounce (meat keeps cooking after removing from heat) bring it to medium. Pork cooked above this is dry and chewy.
