New York Systems Hot Wiener Sauce

I am a chili dog girl and I die for these wonderful hot dogs .
Ingredients
- New York System's Hot Wiener Sauce (Copycat) shopping list
- This is a hot dog sauce that if you've ever lived or been to RI and had a "New York Systems Hot Wiener" you know how good this is. 2¼ hours | 15 min prep | 1 quart (about) shopping list
How to make it
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon marjoram
- 3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 quart water
- Brown ground beef, drain grease.
- Add to kettle with remaining ingredients. Simmer all for 2 hours without covering.
