Moist Red Beet Chocolate Cake With Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

- Cream 1 1/2 cups sugar with 3 eggs and add 1 cup Wesson Oil blended with 1 1/2 cups canned beets cut into small pieces, also add 2 squares melted chocolate. shopping list
- Sift together 1 3/4 cup flour, 1 1/2 tsp baking soda, and 1/2 tsp. salt. Add this to above along with 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- Bake in 2 greased and floured layer plans in a 350 oven for 20 - 25 min. Very good and moist. shopping list

- 2 small packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1 pound confectioners' sugar shopping list
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted shopping list
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting Directions:
- Cream butter and cream cheese; gradually add part of the sugar,
- alternating with chocolate then milk, until well blended and
- spreading consistency is reached. Beat in 1 teaspoon vanilla.
- Frosts 2 9-inch round layers
