Simple and visually stunning. I would make this for company. For goodness sake, it's just 3 ingredients !! And who doesn't like chocolate? No cooking but requires 4 hours chilling. Recipe and pic from Kraftfoods.

I love this one... I have this recipe and I like your version....! :-) Thanks dear...

My Mom used to make this for my birthday every year while growing up...YUM!

O.K. GF you got my five. It really is pretty besides sounding Yumm.

I've made this before and it is fabulous! got my 5

This sounds so good Dana. I could probaly eat half a roll. (My husband the other half. Hee, hee!) That is why I avoid goodies like this. But it is very pretty.

Anyone know where I can get these wafers here in TN? I've looked everywhere, because this recipe is delicious...never can find them!--Kn0x--

Knox, I'm pretty sure that it would come out just as well with another brand of chocolate wafers... see, this what I mean about KRAFT proprietary recipes, they always insist that you use KRAFT products to make them, but I know that chocolate wafers made by anyone else would probably give you good results, too! Anyway, this sounds like a nice treat to whip up for a party on short notice. Yum yum. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Haha! Catgirl go get em, I mean go get Kraft???!?! lol Again I'm agreeing with you on both counts. This does look like a great idea for a short order dessert to impress - just put it together first thing then chill and go about fixing the other components of your party menu. Everything comes together soooo nicely lol And, I'm all for substituting brands, especially if there is something cheaper that works just as well, maybe even better. You're definitely my kinda cook - the kind that keeps it real ;)

Dana.....leftovers.....you must be kidding right? :}
Or is it an early day "April fools joke l.o.l.:}

OMG! That is just too easy and too wonderful! Glad I am having time to get caught up on my recipe-checking-out-time!! LOL...you will be tired of me be the end of the day, LOL.

My mother use to make this cake for us kids. It is so easy to make and looks awsome uncut and cut. sucks it takes 4 hour chilling, but well worth it in the end!!!

Looks good but im having trouble visualizing how to stack the wafers?

Me too .. how do you stack the wafers?..

This is a "trick" roll, kinda. The wafers are "glued" together with cream, end to end,the same way they're lined up in the package except with cream between each wafer and all around the log so formed. The trick is slicing it at a 45 degree angle, which makes the slices look the way they do. Its like an optical illusion.... a very delicious one. Hope that helps.
