Meunire Sauce Recipe
The Cajun sauce, Meunière Sauce, is a brown butter sauce with other exotic flavors. It is superb on baked or pan-fried fish steaks.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons green onion; chopped
  • 1 tablespoon parsley; minced

Directions
  1. Melt Butter and cook slowly until butter is lightly browned.
  2. Add the other ingredients and sauté for about 3 minutes, shaking the pan back and forth. This will keep the sauce from separating and allow it to thicken.
  3. You may either pour the sauce into the bottom of the serving platter, under the fish, or over the fish but serve as soon as posible..
