Very tasty french toast recipe that I purchased from the Hoffman Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1988. This one is tried and true and we all love it. Hope you do too.

Wow - this would be perfect for my next sunday breakfast (especially since I didn't have one today) this sounds great - you always provide us foodies here with unique and interesting dishes - I thank you from the bottom of my heart...! Imagine this with thinned down and warmed berry jelly of some sort - ooh PJ french toast - fantastic I say! Excellent post chefmeow - simply perfect!

I always put peanut butter ON my french toast. I never considered making it part of the recipe. I *must* try this.

You are all welcome, glad it appeals to you. I like Diva's idea of pouring thinned down berry jelly over the top. Yummy.
