The wonderful cookbook The Silver Palate has an over-the-top French toast recipe. I have made these more than a few times, and the results are fantastic. The triple sec and orange zest add a fresh
zing to these beauties.

I LOVE Silver Palate's cookbook - great recipe...the Triple Sec would lend a great "fruity" flavor - can't wait to try this one. I have left over Italian bread from dinner tonight...I think I better slice it and freeze it until the weekend, JUST for this - perfect!
